Hello, I'm Brett Miller, the founder of Way of the Warrior Leadership Academy Inc. (NFP).  At Way of the Warrior Leadership Academy, we're on a mission to inspire and empower female student athletes in Central Illinois to become brave and creative leaders for life. Our flagship program, Captain's Class, is a transformative five-day in-person course that equips these young women with invaluable leadership skills. These skills not only benefit them in their athletic pursuits but also empower them in every aspect of their lives. 

Why it Matters: We firmly believe that when more women are empowered to lead, society as a whole benefits. Decades of research have shown that women in leadership roles can significantly increase productivity, enhance collaboration, inspire organizational dedication, and promote fairness. By fostering leadership skills in our female student athletes, we are not just shaping the future of sports; we are shaping the future of our communities and workplaces. 

Our Vision: Our vision is to provide a supportive and empowering environment where girls can discover their voice, build their confidence, and choose to lead. We want to ensure that every female student athlete in central Illinois has access to the tools and guidance they need to become strong leaders. 

Our Captain's Class offers a one-of-a-kind fusion of experience: 40 plus years of coaching female athletes from beginners through college level, as well as 50 plus years of Military and corporate leadership. With this background as our basis, we will help you develop your warrior spirit regarding attitude, poise, work ethic and accountability both on and off the field.
